MONETTE RIVERA

MONETTE RIVERA  is a  journalist, television producer, host, and communications specialist. She is the host and producer of ‘NYC Chika In The City’ on ABS-CBN International’s The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) Adobo Nation program, and is TFC’s ‘NY Chika Girl’.

She’s also has been a News Correspondent for TFC’s Balitang America, covering issues, people, and events surrounding the Filipino American communities since 2002.

Rivera is a co-founder of the Filipino-American Press Club of New York (FAPCNY) and is currently its President and Chairman of the Board.

Rivera loves the classics, arts, music, history, and the ocean. Her true passion is to connect with people, listen to their stories, and keep relationships.
